Flux M: Antec’s micro-ATX enclosure!

Antec announces its Flux M, a new compact case designed for compact motherboards. This new case adopts an original chassis with a sober design and an airflow that should, we believe, be correct in view of its mesh front panel… What’s more, the price is really affordable!

Flux M: a micro-ATX case from Antec!

Antec Flux MAntec’s new Flux M case measures 247 (W) x 459 (D) x 365 (H) mm. It weighs in at 6.35 kg.

Internally, the case will accommodate motherboards in micro-ATX and mini-ITX formats. However, compatibility with BTF motherboards does not appear to be guaranteed. For the rest of the components, however, we find compatibility with 175 mm-high fans or 405 mm-high graphics cards. However, it’s at the power supply level that things get complicated: 160 mm.

The internal layout is rather unusual, with the power supply installed vertically at the front. This seriously reduces the height of the case, as opposed to a conventional arrangement: motherboard at the top, power supply at the bottom.

In terms of standard ventilation, the case comes with six fans installed by default. There are three at the bottom, one at the rear and two on the front. This already comprehensive ventilation can be enhanced by adding three 120 mm fans at the top. Last but not least, the system is compatible with 360 mm watercooling radiators at the top.

Storage is provided by two 2.5″/3.5″ slots.

In the end, it’s the price tag that makes us happy: €69.90, a good price for an original chassis and full ventilation.
