Clearly, the end of the EVGA brand is a fine mess. Indeed, the company had a certain know-how in the graphics card field, and the same goes for motherboards. However, disagreements with NVIDIA forced the company to halt its graphics card business. Some time later, we learned that it was motherboards, and since then, whenever we talk about the brand, it’s to announce bad news. Today is no exception, as we learn that the company is closing its online forum.
EVGA closes its forum and invites its members to go to Reddit
A new page is being turned for the brand with the closure of its forum. Although current posts will be available to read, it will no longer be possible to create new ones. The brand is therefore inviting its customers to turn to Reddit, given the platform’s undoubted popularity. The brand would also like to thank its members for years of posts and hopes that this will continue on Reddit. In short, a new page has been turned, and it’s a shame because the forum still seemed to be gathering some activity, given the latest responses to posts, but perhaps not enough any more.
Finally, the brand’s future looks increasingly uncertain. Indeed, the last product launched by EVGA dates back to July 2023 and it was a series of power supplies with its SuperNOVA Gold FTW. What’s more, the warranty period for this series was very short compared to the company’s other series: just 3 years. In the meantime, the brand’s catalogue has been discontinued. What’s more, it’s no longer even possible to make online purchases via the brand’s website, as used to be the case.
Once again, it’s sad to see how the company has ended, especially given its expertise in components.
