The Minisforum brand of mini-PCs announces a new ultra-compact machine. Indeed, we find the EliteMini B550 in the catalog of the brand. A new mini-PC with an AMD APU in Ryzen 4000G and 5000G!

As always with the brand, we have the right to an ultra compact machine. In fact, the dimensions speak for themselves: 208.6 (W) x 240.9 (D) x 128.1 (H) mm. The weight is also very contained with its 115g.
As far as the configuration is concerned, there are several choices, including the possibility of acquiring a barebone. In other words, we buy the machine without RAM or storage. Otherwise, the brand lets you choose between three configurations:
- 16 GB RAM + 256 GB SSD
- 16 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD
- 32 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD
Nevertheless, via two SO-DIMM memory slots, we will be able to push up to 64 GB of DDR4. For the storage part, there are two M.2 slots in SATA or PCIe 3.0 and a 2.5″ slot in SATA III.
The processor part offers an APU AMD Ryzen 7 5700G or a Ryzen 7 4700G. You will have understood, there will be no dedicated GPU since the display will be taken care of by the iGPU.
We quickly finish with the connectivity based on four USB 3.2 Gen2 and USB C Gen2. For the image, we have the right to two HDMI as well as a DisplayPort. The network benefits from an Ethernet but also WiFi in option via M.2 2230. Finally, we have the right to a power button, a Kesington lock and the power supply in 19V.
