We already knew that Corsair was preparing a new series of watercooling kit all-in-ones. The Elite LCDs have now been officially announced and Corsair is telling us more about the features of their products.
Elite LCD: up to 420 mm and with a screen!
With this new series, Corsair offers us a total of three new watercooling kits. The size of the radiator starts with a simple 240 mm and continues with 360 mm to finish with the huge 420 mm.
Otherwise, we have here Corsair kits quite classic in itself with a square radiator always neat. In addition, we will note some small changes in the look of the fans, more square, smoother. As for the pump, its main novelty is the integration of an LCD screen.
And let’s talk about the LCD, because it’s an IPS screen with a resolution of 480×480. As for brightness, Corsair announces 600 cd/m² of colors on 24 bits and 30 fps maximum. Of course, the latter will be used to monitor the system by displaying information relating to it. Likewise, it can be customized via a .gif or a .jpeg for example.
The ventilation is provided by ML RGB Elite fans in 120 mm or 140 mm. If the air flow or pressure are not known, we know that the ML120 RGB Elite will run from 450 RPM to 2000 RPM. The ML140 RGB Elite, on the other hand, has a rotation range of 400 RPM to 1600 RPM.
Of course, the management of all these kits goes through a Commander Core controller for software support. That’s right, iCUE is back to assist you in managing your Corsair hardware!
Finally, we finish with the sales price, which is €257.90 for the 240mm. The 360 mm is displayed at 293.90 € while the 420 mm rises to 316.90 €. As often, the integration of the screen makes the bill rise.
