Alphacool is now in charge of watercooling the latest AMD graphics cards. Indeed, the brand announces its new Eisblock waterblocks. These will cool the new red RX 7900.
Eisblock: full cover waterblock for AMD RX 7900 !
The brand offers waterblock type full cover that will cover the entire PCB of the card. They will cool the GPU, memory chips and VRMs of the card on which they are mounted.
In addition, in line with the new series of graphics cards fromAMD, Alphacool announces that it has reworked its heatsink. The core of the cooling is done via a network of 0.4 mm micro-vanes spaced from each other by 0.4 mm. According to the brand, this makes it possible to offer high-performance cooling without too many restrictions on internal flow.
As always, the construction is based on copper, but beware, plot twist, it is no longer nickel-plated, but chrome-plated! According to Alphacool, the use of chrome makes the surface treatment more resistant compared to nickel. On the other hand, the upper part is still made of plexi.
Regarding compatibility, a number of custom cards are already supported. This is especially the case for the Nitro+ and Toxic (not yet announced) from Sapphire, Taichi and Phantom from ASRock.
As for the price, Alphacool announces its blocks at 159,98 €.
