FT12 and FT14: the new DeepCool fans!

DeepCool FT12

With these fans, the brand offers us 120 mm and 140 mm models, all in black and white. There’s no RGB lighting here, just sober fans. However, for the sake of aesthetics, the brand has made the central hub transparent. This means you can admire all the components that make up the fan motor, which can be highlighted by a white LED system. An original design.

As for specifications, DeepCool announces :

  • 140 mm :
    • Speed range: 500 to 1650 rpm
    • Air flow: 78.83 CFM
    • Static pressure: 3.6 mmAQ
  • 120 mm :
    • Speed range: 500 to 2150 rpm
    • Air flow: 75 CFM
    • Static pressure: 4.2 mmAQ

As you can see, the fans have a high static pressure and are, on paper, ideal for use on watercooling radiators in particular.

Otherwise, we’d like to highlight the square-shaped frame, which features rubber silentblocks designed to minimize the vibrations generated by the fan as it rotates.

As for the price, these fans aren’t cheap. Expect to pay $21.9 for a single FT12, as opposed to $49.90 for a pack of three. The FT14s are priced at $24.90 a piece, but are not yet available in a pack.
