Via a press release from Patriot, we’ve learned of a collaboration between the brand and ASUS TUF Gaming. The name of this new kit is Patriot Viper Elite 5 TUF Gaming Alliance RGB DDR5. The modules feature a matt white heatsink and RGB backlighting. The new Viper Elite 5 TUF Gaming Alliance RGB DDR5 series will feature kits offering speeds of up to 6,600 MT/s, capacities of up to 48 GB and, of course, overclocking support. The kits will be either optimized for Intel platforms with XMP 3.0 or in AMD EXPO version on certain models.
In fact, Patriot has already set up an official page where you can currently discover four kits ranging from 6,000 MT/s in 40-40-40-77 to 6,600 MT/s 34-40-40-84. For the moment, we don’t yet know the prices or availability of these kits, except that they will soon be available on the brand’s shop or directly on Amazon.
We’ll be talking to you again soon about the Patriot brand, since we’ve got our hands on a copy of the Viper Gaming Xtreme 5 kit in 2 x 24 GB CL38 with a frequency of 8,200 MT/s. As you may have guessed, this is a kit featuring the new Hynix M-die chips.
