During our test of the superb RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition from PowerColor, we had announced the arrival in 2023 of custom backplates. Indeed, PowerColor has decided to distinguish itself from other brands by offering interchangeable backplates to best match your configuration and especially your tastes. In the bundle of the RX 7900 XTX Red Devil Limited Edition was already a first example.
We learn today via our colleagues from Videocardz of the availability of two other custom backplates. They are made of either plastic or plastic and aluminum and weigh 300 grams each. Of course these interchangeable backplates are only for the RX 7900 XTX Red Devil from PowerColor. It is very easy to change them because they are magnetized.
PowerColor announces that both custom backplates will be available via the online stores as well as the official store, but only for US residents. The Generative skin will cost $59.99 while the Intrusive model will cost $29.99.
