Cougar has released a new accessory for one of its PC cases. The company has unveiled an LCD screen that can be integrated directly into the bottom of its CFV235 case. Simply put, with this screen, the brand is offering a component that can be mounted at the bottom of its case. It is integrated into a glossy surface that replaces the side of the power supply compartment.

The screen itself features a 9.16″IPS panel. As for resolution, it displays at 1920×462, all at 60 Hz. As for connection, you’ll need to use USB 2.0 via a header that plugs directly into the motherboard, while control will be handled by the Cougar LCD Editor software.

In any case, this screen will allow you to display your PC’s monitoring data, such as the temperature of your components. You can also customize this display by showing .jpg, .gif, and .png images, as well as .mp4 video files.

For now, the retail price and availability have not yet been announced.

As for the CFV235 case, it is a mid-tower model. It features a compartmentalized design with the power supply in a specific compartment at the bottom and the rest of the configuration at the top. To optimize cooling, these two blocks are separated by a gap that allows for better air intake by the fans installed at the bottom.

Finally, it should be noted that the brand is launching this screen as a standalone product, as it was already available on the Vision version of the case. This allows owners of the classic case to upgrade it freely.
