We already talked about it here, but it’s now official, Corsair announces the arrival of a new DDR5 memory kit composed of two 24 GB bars, for a total of 48 and clocked at 7000 MT/s. In terms of timing, we find 40-52-52-114 for a voltage of 1.40 volts. According to our information, the chips that equip these new memory kits are Micron in revision B. The price is $284.99 but the kit is not yet in stock, which should not be long.

These new bars are offered in the “Vengeance RGB” series that we had already presented to you during our test of the 6800 MT/s CL38 kit, but you will also have the choice of not opting for the RGB backlight. Corsair offers these 48GB versions to handle gaming while leaving room for other demanding workloads such as streaming, 8K video editing, as well as 3D rendering.

Corsair also offers other new kits including a model that consists of 4 memory strips of 48 GB for a total of 192 GB. This kit has a frequency of 5200 MT/s, timings of 38-38-38-84, supports XMP 3.0 and requires a voltage of 1.25 volt to operate. See you soon to review one of these new Corsair kits.
