Corsair is offering us new SSDs with its MP700 Elite models. This is a new series available with and without a heatsink. What’s more, with their PCIe 5.0 interface, the performance should be top-notch!
MP700 Elite: PCIe 5.0 SSDs with and without heatsinks!
The programme includes SSDs in two different capacities, with 1 TB and 2 TB versions. Also note, we have models with or without a heatsink as standard. Depending on your motherboard or where you install it, you can opt for one or the other.
Internally, this model benefits from a memory controller managing PCIe 5.0, which promises high transfer speeds. Otherwise, we have 3D TLC memory, which is pretty standard.
As for performance, the brand claims maximum sequential speeds of 10 GB/s for reading and 8.5 GB/s for writing. Random performance is rated at 1.3M readIOPS and 1.4M writeIOPS. Last but not least, endurance is announced at 1,200TB for the 2TB version!
The price is €159.99 for the 1TB model and €284.99 for the 2TB version.
