Alphacool announces new components for custom water cooling with new distro plates. The brand is announcing a total of four new products, two in 240 mm and two in 360 mm. The difference between each model? The position of the pump, either on the right or on the left!
Core Distro Plate V2: available in 360 and 240 mm with the pump on the right or left!
With this new batch of distribution plates (or distro plates), Alphacool offers products designed to simplify the assembly of custom water cooling loops. How? By ideally positioning the threads to align the tubes with the various water blocks and radiators. While the 360 mm plate has ten G1/4″ inlets/outlets, the 240 mm version has eight, along with a drain.
In terms of dimensions, the 240 mm plate measures 240 (W) x 125 (D) x 62.20 mm with its pump. The 360 mm model has the same dimensions, except for the length, which is 360 mm.
Of course, the whole thing is made of transparent acrylic, so you can see the liquid inside, while aRGB LEDs light up the whole thing. Speaking of liquid, the 360 mm model has a capacity of 190 ml, compared to 105 ml for the 240 mm version.
As for the pump, we find an Apex D5 model, which is based on four-pin SATA and PWM connections. In terms of speed, it will run from 2500 to 4500 rpm while generating a flow rate of 340 l/h and a water column of 4.25 m. Depending on the plate, it can be installed on the right or left.
In terms of price, the ditro plates are not cheap, costing around €250 for the 240 mm version and around €280 for the 360 mm version. Note that there is no price difference depending on the position of the pump. Also, keep in mind that their size means they can be mounted on water cooling radiator locations.
