Alphacool announces the arrival of a new product: a reservoir/pump combo. It will fit perfectly into your custom watercooling loops. In short, the brand stands out thanks to its glass construction and the integration of a VPP Apex pump.
Core 70 Tube: a new combo/reservoir from Alphacool!
With this set, the brand offers us a very attractive reservoir made of glass for the transparent part and acetal for the black elements. The overall dimensions are 74 (W) x 97 (D) x 293 (H) mm. It weighs 1080g and has a capacity of 494 ml. For connection, there are two chrome-plated G1/4″ threads and two fill ports.
The pump is installed at the base of the reservoir and measures 65 mm wide by 41 mm high. It has an aluminum exterior with a ceramic shaft. It is connected via a SATA power connector, while speed control is handled by a four-pin PWM connector.
In terms of its characteristics, we note a speed range between 2500 rpm and 4500 rpm. When operating at full speed, it will deliver a flow rate of 340 l/h while maintaining a water column of 4.25 m.
In terms of price, Alphacool is offering its duo at €199.98. It’s not cheap, but the pump is included. As for installation, everything you need is provided, of course. In the meantime, you can admire this set at work in the configuration above, which was assembled by Nico_CPK.
