Alphacool has come up with a new CPU waterblock with its Core 1 Aurora White. This is actually a new color in the brand’s series. In fact, this Core 1 model is already available in various colors, except for aRGB white!

Core 1 Aurora White: a white version with RGB from Alphacool!

Alphacool Aurora 1 Core WhiteThe shape of the waterblock itself is well known, since it’s based on the Aurora 1, which we tested here in a silver version. The result is a block measuring 72 (W) x 72 (D) x 26.50 (H) mm. Connection to the rest of the loop is via two G1/4″ threads on the top.

With this model, Alphacool opts for a brass construction, while the base is made of nickel-plated copper. The base is composed of 0.4 mm micro-wires, also spaced 0.4 mm apart. Finally, the little subtlety of this version is that it comes in white with a thin RGB border on the top. Coupled with the glossy edges, this gives it a particularly successful look!

Last but not least, it’s compatible with Intel LGA-1700 and AMD AM4/AM5 platforms.

Finally, a word about the price, which remains rather high. In fact, the brand’s website lists the price at around €130.
