GX II Gold: two new 750W and 850W power supplies!

Cooler Master GX II Gold

The brand’s program features 16 cm-deep ATX-format power supplies. Of course, cable management is entirely modular, and the brand distinguishes itself by adding a 12VHPWR connector oriented at 90° on the graphics card side. Depending on the type of connector on the GPU, you’ll need to run the cable either over or under the CG when wiring.

Internally, cooling is provided by a 120 mm fan with semi-passive operation up to 40% load. Be careful, however, as it can reach 2,500 rpm at full speed. It may not be very quiet if your PC ‘s power consumption gets out of hand. Otherwise, the construction is based on Japanese capacitors.

As for the electrical side, the blocks feature an active PFC, while they are based on a half-bridge design with LLC circuit and DC-to-DC converter. Finally, they are 80 Gold certified, ATX 3.0 compliant and feature a single 12V rail, while all electrical protections are present.

Last but not least, the connectors have everything you need to power a recent configuration. We find a single 24-pin ATX followed by two EPS12V CPUs. For graphics, there are four PCIe 6 2 and one 12VHPWR. On the peripherals side, we have two molex and six SATA.

At present, we don’t know the selling price. However, we do know that the warranty will be 10 years!
