Cooler Master strikes hard on the SFX power supply market with two new models. Indeed, the brand launches its V SFX Platinum models with very high power. We are talking about 1100W and 1300W models. It’s simple, these blocks currently offer the best ratio of power to space on the market.
V SFX Platinum: the best ratio of power to space on the market!
Cooler Master offers us two small size power supplies. Indeed, with its new blocks, we find SFX models offering very high power: 1100W and 1300W. In addition, the efficiency is important: 92%, since we find a certification 80+ Platinum.
In order to facilitate the wiring, the cable management is fully modular. The blocks make available the same connectivity that includes:
- 1x ATX 24-pin
- 2x EPS12V CPU, one 8-pin, the other 4+4-pin
- 3x PCIe 6+2 pins
- 1x 12VHPWR
- 8x SATA
- 4x Molex
Internally, the blocks are equipped with 100% Japanese capacitors. Likewise, the electrical part is based on a full bridge LLC design and a DC-DC topology. Concerning the protections, there is what is needed with OVP, OPP, SCP, OCP, UVP, OTP and protections against overvoltage and inrush current.
It only remains to talk about the prices which are not pleasant. Certainly, the powers are insane for the format and the important output. On the other hand, it will be necessary to spend 379 € for the model of 1100W and 389 € for that of 1300W.
