Clearly, passive power supplies aren’t exactly a dime a dozen. There are a few at Seasonic, but generally speaking, in our part of the world, that’s about it… All the more so as power ratings are not as high as active versions… And that’s where Cooler Master comes in, with an 1100W X Silent spotted by FanlessTech. Yes, yes, a passive power supply of over 1000W, all with a CES presentation!

X Silent 1100W: a very large passive power supply!

Cooler Master X Silent 1100WClearly, with this model we can expect a top-of-the-range power supply with a clearly meticulous finish.

As you may have guessed, the technical specifications are not yet known, and will be presented, at least in part, at CES. Nevertheless, we can expect 80 Platinum certification.

Internally, as you can see, there’s no fan – logical, otherwise it wouldn’t be a passive block. On the other hand, the radiators are imposing, all the more so as the casing also helps dissipate heat. This is particularly noticeable when looking at the sides of the block.

Connections are rich and comprehensive, including a 12VHPWR for NVIDIA RTX 40s. In view of the power, we should be able to power an RTX 4090 in silence.

In short, we can’t wait to find out more. This year’s CES takes place from January 9 to 12.
