The Cooler Master brand announces new PC cases with its HAF 700 Evo and HAF 700. Unlike their predecessors, these new models are now available in white. Lovers of this color are sure to appreciate them!
HAF 700 Evo and HAF 700: white versions!
The program includes two new housings: the “basic” models and the Evo model. As you can see, the Evo version has a more sophisticated front panel, offering greater functionality. Indeed, the latter benefits from a small, customizable LCD screen called Iris. What’s more, the front features vertical strips of tempered glass for added style. In short, it’s downright stylish!
However, let’s not forget that we’re dealing with very high-end cases. They are designed to accommodate very large configurations. There are no constraints for the graphics card, for example. As for the motherboard, the tray supports E-ATX models, while the power supply is 200 mm deep. As for the CPU cooling unit… No, you’re not going to put a CPU air cooler in there, are you?
This case is like Corsair’s Obsidian 1000D, a case dedicated to custom watercooling. At the top alone, we have two slots capable of accommodating 420 mm radiators! Next to the motherboard tray, we have a 480 mm slot against 420 mm on the front and bottom. Even at the rear, you’ll be able to fit 240 mm!
Otherwise, you’ll find a tool-free mounting system for many components. This applies to the motherboard, hard disk cage and SSD plates… The same applies to the power supply. What’s more, radiators can be mounted outside the case thanks to removable plates. Finally, the bottom plate can even be oriented at something like 45°.
Nevertheless, all these advantages come with a major drawback: the dimensions of 291 (W) x 666 (D) x 626 (H) mm. The heavy weight could also be a hindrance: 19.9 kg for the basic model versus 24.70 kg for the Evo! Oh, and don’t forget the prices: €359.99 and €499.99 for the HAF 700 EVO White!
