We now turn to Cooler Master, which has announced the arrival of two new power supplies for our PCs. Indeed, the brand confirms the high-power GX III Gold. We’re talking about 1050W and 1250W power supplies! Enough to power serious configurations.

GX III Gold: power ratings of 1050W and 1250W announced!

Cooler Master GX III GoldIf you remember, the GX III Gold series was announced by Cooler Master earlier in July. Until now, the range has featured power supplies rated at 850W at best. This time, the power ratings are much higher, with 1250W models!

With these two models, the brand retains the same aesthetic appearance, with an attractive honeycomb grille to let the ventilation breathe. If the side, a GX III marking followed by the power rating is also present. Finally, there’s no change to the dimensions, with 16 cm deep blocks.

Of course, the brand continues to offer 80 Gold-certified power supplies, while cable management is fully modular. Internally, the 120 mm fan features a semi-passive operating mode up to 40% load.

Of course, we find all the usual arsenal of recent power supplies, such as Japanese capacitors and active PFC. The same goes for electrical protection. However, this series is distinguished by the presence of a 12VHPWR connector oriented at 90° on the graphics card side.

For the moment, we have no idea of the price of this series, as no blocks are yet available. Nevertheless, the brand has announced a 10-year warranty.
