The CK720 keyboard receives a small update from Cooler Master. Indeed, this small model, wireless, in 65% format, now benefits from hot-swappable switches… But not only that!

CK720: Cooler Master improves its keyboard !

Cooler Master CK721 - CK720 In the program, we still find a compact model, in 65% format. It retains some navigation keys and especially the arrow pad. However, it is distinguished by the presence of a multifunction wheel. It will be able to manage the lighting, sound, tracks, etc..

Internally, we now find a PCB with sockets allowing hot swapping of switches. Basically, Cooler Master is supplied by Kailh since we find red, white and brown Kailh Box V2. Respectively, they offer linear, clicky and tactile sensations. Moreover, in the box, we will find a set of eight Cherry MX Green, clicky switches requiring a force of 80g for activation.

Also, the brand improves the silence during use via the addition of two layers of silicone insulation, which is always welcome. In the same vein, the brand opts for in-house and pre-lubricated stabs . Finally, the American, British and Turkish versions benefit from PBT keycaps.

Finally, the brand still opts for an anodized aluminum faceplate that will be removable. Let’s hope that the brand has improved the adjustments since, at the time of our test of the CK721 clearly, it wasn’t great.

The price remains very affordable since the keyboard is $99.99 at Amazon.com!
