New case to be unveiled by Thermaltake at CES: the Core PX INFINITY WS. This is a new addition to the brand’s Core series of cases. Historically, this has been an open-frame design, but this new version includes wooden elements and lighting with an infinite depth effect on the front.

Core PX INFINITY WS: a new high-end Core!

Thermaltake Core PX Infinity WSWith this new version, Thermaltake is offering a model clearly aimed at the high-end market. As you can see, it features wooden elements, as evidenced by the very open front panel and power supply cover. The brand has also worked on the base of the case, which is now part of the main compartment. The latter features an aRGB lighting system with an infinite depth effect, while a luminous border surrounds the motherboard support.

However, based on the short video we posted on our social media accounts, we could see a different layout for the glass panel and the wooden front section. The layout of these elements can be adjusted to suit your preferences. If you want wood at the top, no problem, while the curved section of the side window will be positioned at the front.

Of course, Thermaltake continues to offer a wall mounting system. Naturally, you will need to ensure that you have a wall that is strong enough to mount your configuration. Typically, plasterboard is not suitable… Unless you’ve reinforced it beforehand.

As for component compatibility, we’ll have to wait for the technical specifications to be published to get all that information.

At the moment, we don’t yet know the retail price of this case, but we expect it to be expensive once again.
