Razer is of course present at CES, and the brand is announcing a number of new products for both the gaming and pro sectors. In fact, since the advent of artificial intelligence, the brand has been moving into the professional sector. As we shall see, the company is announcing a number of products aimed at professionals.

Razer goes AI!

Razer Forge AI Dev Workstation: pre-assembled machines for AI development!

Razer Forge AI Dev Workstation

Roughly speaking, the idea behind this solution is to offer pre-assembled machines powerful enough to work locally on artificial intelligence. In fact, each machine can contain up to four NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwells, coupled with an AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro processor. The whole system benefits from high memory bandwidth and a solid 10 GbE network. These PCs can also be mounted as racks for better cable and space management.

Razer AIKit, an open source solution for local LLM development:

To facilitate development in this crucial sector that AI has become, the brand offers an open source platform (available on GitHub) that simplifies the development cycle. With good reason, this platform automatically detects and configures GPUs while forming optimized clusters for LLM training and model development. All this is done automatically and without manual intervention. Of course, Razer AI hardware is also supported.

A compact AI accelerator in partnership with Tenstorrent :

Razer X Tenstorrent

Finally, we learn that Razer and the Tenstorrent company have collaborated together to offer a Compact AI accelerator. The latter enhances the AI capabilities of your equipment, while providing processing capacities worthy of desktop machines, all in a case with a footprint worthy of a mini-PC. What’s more, up to four of them can be connected in parallel to boost performance.

Project Ava: an AI companion!

Razer Project Ava

Project Ava is evolving. Initially conceived as an esport coach, it returns in the form of a 14 cm holographic AI companion. Equipped with a camera and microphone, it can follow you with its eyes and listen to you. Better still, it can analyze your screen to give you strategic advice on how to win your game. Beyond that, this companion can help you on a daily basis, a sort of Amazon Alexa with Razer’s AI.
