As CPU TDPs rise, cooling solutions are also on the increase. Initially, if we had a 280 mm kit, it wasn’t bad! Then 360 mm kits came out, followed a few years later by 420 mm AIOs. This year, on its stand at CES, the Yeyian brand is presenting a 480 mm all-in-one kit!

As you can see, this 480 mm radiator can accommodate up to four 120 mm fans per side. Impressive though this is, it does pose one major problem: you’ll need a compatible case. Clearly, it’s hard enough to find 420 mm-compatible cases (although this is improving with time), but there must be a 480 mm-compatible case out there… Three on the market?
As for the pump, we obviously don’t know its specifications, but we do know that it has a 2.1″ IPS LCD screen. And as usual, it’s capable of displaying lots of pretty things.
Finally, we’d like to mention a series of very imposing kits featuring 360 mm, 420 mm and 480 mm radiators for the model on display.
Finally, we wonder about the relevance of offering such a large radiator in an AIO. Indeed, this requires a special, often very high-end enclosure. So rather than installing an AIO in a €400 case, wouldn’t the user be more tempted to fit a custom watercooler ? Ditto the question of the pump, since to circulate the liquid in there, it needs to be at least powerful, capable of ensuring a minimum flow rate, which is not always the case with AIOs.
