Announced at CES, with the promise of new information before the end of the month, Nvidia has still not communicated about the 3090 Ti.
Nvidia postpones the RTX 3090 Ti for February or March?
At CES 2022, Nvidia launched several new graphics card models such as mobile GPUs with the 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti or the RTX 3050. The brand also took the opportunity to announce a fourth card: the 3090 Ti, which will be equipped with the entire GA102 chip with 84 SM corresponding to 10752 cuda core, coupled with 24 GB of GDDR6X at 21 Gbps and with a TDP of 450W.
This 3090 Ti is thus announced as the fastest Nvidia card of the whole range. However, during the conference we were promised details on the card before the end of January, but we are now in February and Nvidia has still not communicated a single word about it.
The launch that was scheduled for January 27th didn’t happen and in the meantime we had good and bad news. A few weeks ago, Nvidia would have asked its partners to stop the production because of software but also hardware problems.
But now, at the end of January, it was EVGA’ s turn to talk about the card for the first time by revealing images of the RTX 3090 Ti KingPin, showing us that the card is coming, but once again without having a precise date for the launch.
