In addition to its Pure Rock 3 and Pure Rock 3 Pro fans, be quiet! announced the launch of two new versions of its Pure Base 501 entry-level case. The latter now features RGB lighting. The latter is either present on the case via edgings on the DX version, or via luminous fans with the LX version!
Pure Base 501: LX and DX versions with RGB!
These new cases are based on the original chassis. The resulting dimensions are identical to those of the airflow window white version we tested at this address. These are 231 (W) x 463 (H) x 450 (D) mm. Likewise, we find the same component compatibility with :
- 368 mm for the graphics card
- 178 mm for CPU cooler
- 180 to 200 mm for power supply, depending on HDD cage
In terms of watercooling, we’d like to point out the compatibility with 240 mm blocks at the top and 360 mm at the front. As for ventilation, a total of six fan slots are available.
However, the LX version comes with a very complete ventilation system. In fact, it comes standard with a total of four 120 mm Light Wings LX fans. What’s more, it differs from the DX version in that it features a hub for centralized connection of aRGB equipment.
As for the DX model, it will feature a total of three Pure Wings 3 fans in 140 mm, similar to those on the original version of the case. Nevertheless, it will still incorporate aRGB lighting, albeit in the form of front-panel edgings!
As for prices, be quiet! has announced bills of €124.90 and €129.90 for the black and white Pure Base 501 DX. The LX will cost €139.90 and €144.90, again in black and white. In all cases, availability is set for March 11!
