Be Quiet! has announced two new top-of-the-range fans: Dark Rock 6 and Dark Rock Pro 6. These replace the brand’s fifth-generation fans. Respectively, we find single-tower and double-tower models!

Dark Rock 6:
With this air cooler, the brand offers us a heat sink in single-tower format, all equipped with a 135 mm fan. The overall design is sober and discreet, with a full black coating. Aesthetic features include side plates with a reminder of the model, and a top cover with the brand’s logo.
Dimensions: 139 (W) x 102 (D) x 162 (H) mm. As for weight, it comes to 1.01 kg on the scale.
This model benefits from a nickel-plated copper base that is also compatible with liquid metal. The base is eccentrically mounted to maximize RAM compatibility, while seven copper heat pipes run through the heat sink.
Otherwise, cooling is provided by a Silent Wings-type fan mounted on 135 mm rails. It operates at up to 2000 rpm, generating an airflow of 89.95 CFM and a static pressure of 2.48 mmH2O. Note the presence of a silence mode, allowing the heat sink to operate in semi-passive mode down to 50% PWM signal.
Dark Rock Pro 6:
The Dark Rock Pro 6 is the double-tower model. The latter is imposing, measuring 140 (W) 147 (D) x 169 (H) mm. It’s also heavier, weighing in at 1.34 kg.
Although still compatible with liquid metal, the copper base is not eccentric here. However, its 120 mm front fan will leave 49 mm in height for RAM. Otherwise, this model gains one more heat pipe than the Dark Rock 6.
Ventilation takes advantage of two mills, one 135 mm, the second 120 mm, whose characteristics are as follows:

Once again, we find a silent operating mode that allows the fan to operate in semi-passive mode when the machine is under little load.
Prices and release date :
As far as sales prices are concerned, the series continues to rise. The Dark Rock 6 is priced at €89.90, while the Dark Rock Pro 6 has been announced at €109.90. In any case, it goes on sale on May 19!
