When it comes to DIY, it’s important to have the right tools… When it comes to computers, it’s the same thing, and having good sets of screwdrivers is an important thing. In response to this problem, Arctic is launching two sets of screwdrivers, a more general one with a ratchet model. The second is more like Corsair’s, and is more focused on precision, with lots of bits!
Screwdrivers: two sets from Arctic!
The programme includes two sets, one with a ratchet system. The latter is more suited to PC assembly and everyday tasks. It has Philips heads, flat heads, Torx, hexagonal heads, etc., all in different sizes. However, the bits will be more substantial in size, with at least PH0 for the Phillips bits, for example.
The second kit focuses more on precision, with much smaller bits. It also has more bits: 62 instead of 27 for the first. Naturally, more screw heads are supported, including pentagonal heads, Torx security and even more exotic heads such as Triwings or Spanners.
In all cases, these kits will be properly protected in an attractive blue aluminium box. However, unlike the Corsair kit, there will be no magnetic coating to hold the screws in place and prevent them from getting lost.
All that’s left now is to mention the prices, which are affordable. The 27-piece ratchet kit is available from Amazon France for €21.99, compared to €19.90 for the precision set with 62 bits. By way of comparison, the Corsair set costs over €35, compared with around €30 for the IFIXIT set.
