If Intel can’t make a name for itself in the consumer graphics sector, it’s a different story when it comes to workstations. On Newegg, we learn that the best-selling pro board is an Intel model. Yes, the Arc Pro B50 is enjoying a meteoric rise thanks to its low price and generous memory capacity.

Arc Pro B50: best seller on Newegg!

Intel Arc Pro B50

Newegg is a major sales platform based in America. And on the latter, in the pro card section, we find a small Intel model in Top #1 sales. In fact, the Arc Pro B50 seems to be enjoying a bit of success, as the card is ahead of rival NVIDIA models in terms of sales.

It has to be said that, with this card, Intel is offering a solid recipe, despite the fact that it’s not the most powerful model on the market. This compact board is self-powered via the PCIe slot. In other words, there’s no need for an auxiliary power connector, whether 8-pin PCIe or 12V-2×6. The card boasts a good memory capacity of 16 GB, while its price of $349 is ridiculously low. To give you an idea, again at Newegg, this is the cheapest pro card with 16 GB memory! For this price, NVIDIA only offers 8 GB of VRAM, while AMD has not made RDNA 4 an entry-level pro board. Only the RADEON Pro AI R9700 is offfered.

If your objective is to work with/on AI, this little Pro B50 is certainly an interesting choice, especially in view of its memory capacity. Even when compared with the mainstream offer, this card is credible… At least, if memory capacity is the only criterion. As we’ve already said, it’s not a war machine when it comes to GPU performance.
