Yesterday we reported on Gigabyte’s presentation of new Aorus Infinity references. The X870E Infinity Max caught our eye. This model stands out for its high-end positioning and bold design, which could undoubtedly be a little divisive. The brand image suggests innovative thermal technology, the use of refined materials and an approach geared towards the latest AMD platforms.
Technical information gathered on site is, for the moment, meagre. The X870E AORUS INFINITY NEXT motherboard seems destined to titillate the flagships versions of its competitors Asus and MSI. Gigabyte has yet to provide any details on power stages, PCIe ports, M.2 slots or networking features. However, its positioning is clear: this motherboard aims to represent the flagship of the INFINITY series on socket AM5. Marketing highlights speed, intelligence and thermal efficiency. Interestingly, another, less aesthetically elaborate version seems to be aimed at overclockers.
During our visit to the stand, we were able to see the various parts that give a clearer idea of the design of the X870E AORUS INFINITY NEXT.
