Antec announces a new power supply series with its NeoECO Gold line. The series features three different power supplies. However, Antec is different in that it does not include a 12VHPWR connector with these models. If you have an RTX 40, you will have to use the adapter that comes with the card!
NeoECO Gold: power supplies that do not require 12VHPWR!
With this new series of power supplies, the Californian brand offers us a total of three power supplies. The powers start at 650W, then we go up to 750W, to finish at 850W. As you can see, the cable management is fully modular, however, Antec has not integrated a 12VHPWR to this series. The goal is surely to remain as economical as possible.
On the electrical side, we find 80+ Gold certified blocks. These models are based on a half-bridge design with LLC circuit and a DC-to-DC topology. Of course, we find capacitors of Japanese origin as well as an active PFC. All the necessary protections are also present with OCP, OVP, UVP, SCP, OPP, OTP, SIP and NLO.
Concerning the connectivity, the 850W model has :
- 1x ATX 24-pin
- 2x EPS12V 4+4 pins
- 6x PCIe 6+2 pins
- 10x SATA
- 5x Molex
- 1x Floppy
The 750W and 650W versions have the same connectivity and lose two PCIe, two SATA and one Molex.
For the prices, the official communication announces a starting price of 109 € including VAT.
