Another rebound at Nvidia?

Another new twist: NVIDIA’s next GPU launches could be cut down to the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB. If we are to believe the latest rumors, these have been delayed due to ongoing component shortages, but there are possibly other reasons…

RTX 3090Ti ???

Only one card launched at the beginning of January ?

These two references were supposed to be launched on January 11th but it seems that now we have to wait until after the Chinese New Year (i.e. during February). These two references were supposed to be answers to one of the Intel Arc Alchemist cards. For its CES, Nvidia could be content to present its RTX 3090Ti and perhaps the RTX 3050. The reasons given for this postponement are, as we said, shortages (what a surprise). In reality, it could also be a game of poker with Intel. Some sources justify NVIDIA’s reluctance to reveal itself by explaining that the greens probably want to wait until they have all the final specifications of Intel cards to counter them if they need it. Lying poker with Intel

A priori, the flip-flops, the changes of foot, the ranges and the strategies don’t disturb anyone except the customers… Why deprive themselves of it? However, the postponement or not of the 3070 Ti 16GB could have a domino effect on the rest of the range. Indeed, by launching a 3070 Ti 16GB, Nvidia would end up with a card that has more advantages on paper than the current RTX 3080 series. If the Greens could do without launching the 3070 Ti 16GB, they would save themselves a refresh of an increasingly indigestible range
