AMD FSR2 benchmark on 3DMark

0

Our colleagues at Videocardz have informed us of the arrival of a new benchmark at 3DMark, which will be dedicated to AMD and its FSR2 technology. This is quite logical since NVIDIA already has a test dedicated to DLSS and Intel to XeSS. So these are the three technologies now have a dedicated test.

This benchmark is based on the Speed Way test. According to the official description, the test will run twice, first at native resolution with temporal anti-aliasing enabled (TAA), then at lower resolution and with the AMD FSR2 mode selected. The tool will then provide information about the frame rate in each mode and the gain provided by the AMD FSR2 as shown in the screenshot below.

This new benchmark dedicated to the AMD FSR2 is now available as a free update, provided of course that you own either a 3DMark Advanced or a Professional edition. We will soon get our hands on this new benchmark in order to add it to our graphics card testing protocol. Feel free to install it and share your results with us by visiting our Discord.
