RADEON Software Adrenalin Edition 23.12.1, what’s new?

Avatar Frontiers of Pandora

On the gaming front, we’ve added support for Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

On the other hand, AMD has redesigned its driver’s user interface. The Home and Gaming sections have been redesigned for easier HYPR-RX activation. It can be activated profile by profile or for all games. Similarly, more information on HYPR-RX functionalities can be accessed via the graphics tab from the games tab. Finally, it will also be possible to customize the display of performance metrics: background, text color, etc.

A new feature has also been added, HYPR-RX Eco, which focuses on energy savings. This feature is primarily available on RX 7000 and RDNA3 GPUs in general.

Last but not least, AMD is adding support for more OS and Vulkan-related functionalities. There are also DirectML enhancements and optimizations for Topaz AI and DaVinci Resolve for the RX 600/700M, RX 6000 and RX 7000.

Corrected problems

  • Improved idle power consumption when using certain dual-monitor display configurations with mixed resolutions and high refresh rate displays (such as 1440p @ 120/144Hz 1080p @ 120/144 Hz or 2160p @ 120/144 Hz 1080p @ 120/144 Hz) on Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs.
  • Intermittent micro-bugs may occur when running Chromium-based browsers on systems that combine a Radeon RX 7000 GPU with a secondary display coupled to an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor.
  • Stars may not appear intermittently when playing Crysis Remastered.
  • Some textures may become invisible when playing Final Fantasy X HD Remaster on Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs.
  • Intermittent corruption may be observed on the race track when playing EA Sports WRC.
  • Intermittent bug when playing Overwatch 2 on certain AMD graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 6900 XTX.
