Alphacool launches a whole new series of waterblocks, four in total. These models are intended for the custom RTX 4080 by ASUS and MSI as well as the RX 7900 series by AMD. However, as far as the RADEON is concerned, this only concerns the reference PCBs.
RTX 4080 and RX 7900: Eisblock Aurora Acryl waterblocks for AMD and NVIDIA cards!
These new waterblocks follow the current trend by being full cover type. They cover the entire PCB of the card for a more convincing look. Likewise, they have an acrylic top part to diffuse the aRGB lighting. The structure of the block itself has been redesigned to be more sober and the block now has only one O-ring.
The choice of materials is once again copper for the base. However, this copper is not nickel-plated, but chrome-plated. According to Alphacool, this makes the coating more resistant to corrosion and scratches… In addition to being brighter and more attractive.
On the compatibility side, we have blocks that are compatible with all the reference RX 7900 XT(X). Basically, they will go on all MBA cards(made by AMD). In addition, a version exists for the RTX 4080 Strix and Strix OC from Asus. The RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio and Suprim X also have the right to their waterblock.
The price will remain the same for all versions: 159.98 € via the brand store.
