New mice from Steelseries that announces its Aerox 3 series. A new range that comes in white and black with wired and battery versions. The particularity of this model is to be ultra light. The brand announces a weight of 59g on the scale!
Aerox 3: the ultra light gaming mouse!
At the visual level, inevitably, we find something very close to a Model O with its perforated shell. Moreover, the dimensions are very similar with 12 cm in length, 3.79 cm in height and 6.7 cm in width. We have here a mouse with quite interesting dimensions.
Otherwise, the brand takes the recipe of the models of this type. Indeed, we have an ultra flexible USB type C cord as well as two large 100% PTFE pads to ensure maximum glide.
Internally, we will not have the same technical sheet between the wired version and the wireless. In both cases, we have :

In any case, both models are equipped with micro-switches with a long life of 80 million activations. Moreover, thanks to their IP54 certification, they will be resistant to water and dust.
More specifically, the wireless version has two connection modes: Bluetooth and Wireless in 2.4 GHz. Steelseries announces a very long battery life that can reach 200 hours. However, under what conditions can we reach it? That’s a mystery. Also, keep in mind that the battery increases the weight of the mouse, which reaches 68 g.
For the price, we have a reference not excessive since the wired model is 69.99 € against 109.99 €.
