Adata is renewing its CyberCore II series of power supplies, following on from the first generation. The latter gain compliance with the ATX 3.0 standard as well as a 12VHPWR connector.
CyberCore II: 80+ Platinum certified high power PSUs!
With these new blocks, the brand offers us power supplies with high power. Indeed, these are power supplies with 1000W and 1300W on the meter… At the same time, with graphics cards more and more energy consuming, ditto for the CPU, manufacturers size the blocks accordingly.
Concerning the electrical part, it looks promising. In any case, we have a single 12V rail. As for the protections, we find the OVP, the OPP, the SCP, the OCP, the UVP, the OTP, the NLO and the SIP. We will also note the presence of a DC-to-DC current converter, as well as an active PFC. The ventilation is provided by a Nidec Gentle Typhoon mill in 120 mm with semi-passive operation up to 30% load.
Finally, the connectivity has the classic and indispensable 24-pin ATX and dual EPS 12V CPU. A 12VHPWR is also present to power the NVIDIA RTX 40 as well as 10 or 6 PCIe 6+2 pins depending on the power of the power supply. Finally, the 1300W model offers twelve SATA, eight molex and two floppy against today’s SATA, four molex and one floppy for the 1000W version.
Finally, no price is known, but the data sheet is available on the brand’s website!
