ADATA, a coating that improves the temperature of RAM kits

ADATA has announced the arrival of a new thermal coating on some of its RAM kits. This will significantly reduce the temperature of memory kits with frequencies in excess of 8000 MT/s.

ADATA: a coating to reduce RAM temperatures!

ADATA XPG revêtement thermique Without giving too much away, we learn that this coating is applied to the PCB of the brand’s memory kits. In fact, the coating is good for memory modules, since it significantly reduces their operating temperature. The brand’s internal tests show a reduction of up to 8.5°C. Thanks to this, RAM, which used to reach 78.5°C, is now down to 70°C, a significant reduction.

Unfortunately, this coating will not be available on all the brand’s memory series. No, to take advantage of it, you’ll have to turn to the Lancer Neon RGB series. Another constraint is that the coating will only be present on memory offering high frequencies, in this case 8000 MT/s.

Of course, we’ll have to wait a little longer before the first RGB-equipped kits hit the market. In fact, availability has been announced for the second quarter of 2024. We can reasonably expect to see a demonstration at this year’s Computex in Taiwan.
