In addition to tackling Zotac’s RTX 3070 Ti, Alphacool announces its Active Backplate. Roughly speaking, these are watercoolable “backplates” to actively cool the back of various RTX 3080 and RTX 3090.

With its new backplates, Alphacool announces something to cool the back of various RTX 3080 and RTX 3090. Indeed, its new products are intended for :
- From references
- 3090 Founder
- Suprim X and Ventus from MSI
- Aorus Master, Aorus Xtreme, Gaming and Eagle from Gigabyte
- FTW3 from EVGA
- ROG Strix from Asus
- HOF from Galax
Moreover, it will even be possible to install these backplates if the card is already equipped with a waterblock signed Alphacool. This concerns the blocks of the Eisblock Aurora Acryl and Eiswolf 2 series.
Otherwise, these “Active Backplates” have a nickel-plated copper base with an acrylic top. In addition, they have two G1/4″ threads on the top and two 5/3 mm corrugated tips on the back. Finally, we have the right to six aRGB diodes for lighting.
