Acer could be the first manufacturer to release a notebook equipped with an Intel Arc Alchemist graphics card. According to information from Videocardz, this laptop would be positioned in the 14-inch ultra-light category. If we refer to the specifications of this series in 2021, these machines generally have a processor and a GPU with low power consumption. In no way can these products be considered as machines for gaming. Indeed, when we look at the model marketed at the end of the year, the highest version had an RTX 3050 Ti 40W GPU. It is therefore possible to find a 2022 configuration equipped with an Alder Lake-P U28 CPU and an Intel ARC DG2-128EU GPU.
Intel: a first “small” GPU to start?
In the next few hours, Intel should make quite a few announcements at CES 2022 (January 4). If the officialization of the entire range of Alder Lake not K is no longer a mystery, many questions remain about the announcement, partial or full range of GPU blues. If Intel reveals itself on the subject, it is therefore almost automatic that Acer will make its new laptops official in the wake. We will give you more information in the next few hours on these subjects that should punctuate the PC hardware news for 2022.
