Cooler Master presented a new AIO water cooling kit at an event in Huizhou, China, which was original to say the least. The kit in question features a particularly bulky radiator. It has a 360×360 format with only four fans. In short, it’s the kind of kit that will only be used for professional purposes!
A 360×360 mm AIO presented by Cooler Master!
With this kit, Cooler Master offers us a rather exotic radiator size, as it adopts a 360×360 mm format. While some custom models such as the NexXxos UT60 1080 Nova adopt a similar format, this one stands out because it can be fitted with four fans. Yes, you won’t be mounting nine 120 mm fans on it, but four 180 mm fans. Cooler Master says the goal is to reduce noise by using four fans instead of nine… Why not, after all?
In any case, judging by the slide shared, this is not a kit intended for mainstream platforms. The pump seems particularly massive to us, as it is intended for mounting on LGA-4677 sockets, for example, or AMD equivalents. In any case, Cooler Master announces a massive dissipation capacity of over 2000W, while the airflow announced with the four fans is over 600 CFM in total.
Ultimately, this is not an AIO that you are likely to buy unless you have a suitable platform. Furthermore, compatibility with cases may pose some minor problems. For now, it is a reference model that was displayed in a Cosmos Alpha case from the brand.
Finally, the prices are also likely to be high. This raises the question of whether it would be better to build a custom loop with a radiator of similar dimensions if you are interested in this format.
