Today, we’re featuring a memory kit from AGI: the TURBOJET UD858 DDR5 RGB, available in a 2 x 16 GB configuration running at 6000 MT/s with CL36.
If you’re not familiar with AGI, don’t worry—that’s perfectly normal. Today, AGI is still a relatively unknown brand here compared to the industry giants. Founded in 2018 in Taiwan, AGI Technology (short for Agile Gear International) specializes in storage solutions and memory (RAM, SSDs, USB drives, etc.). But until now, the brand had focused primarily on the professional sector, particularly in Asia. The launch of this kit therefore reflects a desire to expand into the consumer market by offering high-quality products at a reasonable price (though that’s proving very difficult right now…).
Honestly, we weren’t quite sure what to expect before receiving this kit. But as soon as we unboxed it and got our hands on it, our first impression was positive; the product inspires confidence, and the build quality holds its own against the competition. In fact, the heat sinks are very well assembled; they’re thick, the finishes are very clean, and the RGB lighting is well-controlled.

First Impressions:
The packaging is standard, consisting of a cardboard box and a plastic blister pack. It’s only once you hold the memory module in your hands that any initial negative impressions vanish. The aluminum heatsink features a very clean build, with no play whatsoever and excellent finish.
The whole unit feels solid and rigid. The acrylic top bar ensures even diffusion of the RGB lighting, avoiding the unsightly “light spots” sometimes found on entry-level kits.
What do we think?
Once we installed this kit on our test setup, we’ve so far simply verified that it works properly. Its appearance and build quality are a real surprise.
To see this kit in a bit more detail—whether through our articles or in person—come see us at Paris Games Week! Several of these kits will be on display in our mods, specially designed for the occasion!
