Silverstone is expanding its FLP series of cases with the FLP03. Admittedly, this model has been spotted before, but it was never actually released. It now joins the lineup alongside the FLP01, an HTPC-style model, and the FLP02, the mid-tower ATX version. It’s also worth noting that retro-style cases like this one seem to be gaining popularity lately, with Thermaltake also working on a dedicated line.
FLP03: The micro-ATX version is coming too!

With this case, of course, we see an off-white color scheme, just like on the old PCs of yesteryear, so to speak. It also features a mock floppy drive and a control panel just like the ones from back in the day, complete with a red on/off button, a locking key, and an LED indicator. Additionally, the various covers and vents are arranged vertically.
Inside, you can install a micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboard if you’d like. However, given the chassis design, compatibility with reverse-pinboard motherboards seems possible, though we wouldn’t bet on it.
As for the rest, it supports graphics cards up to 413 mm in length and CPU coolers up to 163 mm in height. Regarding the power supply, the depth ranges from 180 to 200 mm depending on the position of the HDD cage inside.
In terms of cooling, the case supports a total of seven fans, with compatibility for 180 mm fans at the front. For liquid cooling, it’s possible to install a radiator up to 360 mm at the top, provided the front 5.25″ bays aren’t occupied.
As for storage, there’s an HDD cage that can accommodate two 3.5″ drives or a 3.5″/2.5″ combo. As for SSDs, there are three dedicated slots.
Of course, this is a fairly compact case measuring 483.6 (D) x 220 (W) x 456.3 (H) mm.
A high price:
Unfortunately, Silverstone is charging a premium for its retro look, with the price tag coming in at $179.99. The price is high, especially for amicro-ATX case— let’s not beat around the bush.
