Corsair launches a new case from its 9000D series with the 9000D Airflow RGB. We’re talking about an absolutely colossal, no-compromise case! Beware of your bank account, however, as the price is just as high as the case is bulky!
9000D Airflow RGB: the return of Corsair’s super tower!
If you’re going to put this case on your desk, you’ll need a big one, since this model measures 307 (W) x 698 (D) x 698 (H) mm. However, these dimensions leave no room for compromise when it comes to configuration assembly.
Internally, we have a motherboard tray that will accommodate the largest models on the market. It supports graphics cards up to 40 cm long and a 180 mm CPU cooler. Also, the power supply cannot exceed 225 mm in depth.
However, this model stands out for its ability to accommodate fans. In total, there are up to 21 slots for 120 mm fans, compared with just six for 140 mm fans and four for 200 mm fans.
For watercooling, the radiators will be mounted on rails, facilitating their integration. Nonetheless, the case can accommodate up to four 480 mm radiators (4×120 mm). For 140 mm fans, two 420 mm radiators can be fitted, while two 400 mm radiators (2×200 mm) can be supported.
Otherwise, you’ll appreciate the options for clean, no-frills assembly, with doors on the rear of the motherboard tray to conceal cables. The control panel offers four USB-A and two USB-C ports. Hinged side doors and six 2.5″ SSD and five 3.5″ HDD slots are also standard.
In short, this new super-case comes with a hefty price tag of $499.99 at Corsair directly.
