New news in connection with the future AMD Ryzen 9000 processors, some of whose references appear on Amazon.nl. Well, on the marketplace. Here, we’re talking about the prices of the Ryzen 9 9900X, Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X. Unfortunately, the 9950X did not appear. Note also that the product pages have been removed in between!
Ryzen 9000: first prices on Amazon.nl!
In terms of price, the Ryzen 9 9900X was listed at €508, compared with €406 for the 9700X and €319 for the 9600X. It’s also worth noting that VAT in the Netherlands is 21%, quite similar to France’s 20%. At the same time, the Netherlands is a member of the EU.
It remains to be seen how much credence can be given to this rumour. As a reminder, the official price of the Ryzen 7000 was :
- Ryzen 9 7900X: $549
- Ryzen 7 7700X: $399
- Ryzen 5 7600X: $299
Now, a 9900X with VAT currency conversion lower than the dollar price. This seems suspicious to us. What’s more, this was a merchant marketplace, not Amazon.nl directly. There’s nothing to stop a retailer from registering and posting the product sheets and prices they want.
At the same time, we have PC21.fr, which also displays prices for future AMD processors. Via Tom’s Hardware, we learn that the store lists a Ryzen 9 9900X at €680.90 incl. VAT, a Ryzen 7 9700X at €544.95 incl. VAT and a Ryzen 5 9600X at €420.72 incl. VAT. Although a little high, these prices already seem more coherent to us.
The price of this series of CPUs has not yet been revealed.
