The PC configurations of Dragon’s Dogma 2 have just been announced… As well as its launch date. The game will see the light of day on March 22, 2024. As for its configuration, that’s what we’re going to talk about now.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: PC configuration announced!

Without further ado, here are the PC configurations for playing the game:

  • Minimum :
    • CPU: Intel Core i5 10600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    • RAM: 16 GB
    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD RADEON RX 5500 XT
  • Recommended :
    • CPU: Intel Core i5 10700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
    • RAM: 16 GB
    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD RADEON RX 6700

As we can see, the announced configurations are rather OK, without being crazy either. Mid-range components will therefore be required to run the game. However, the small difference between the CPUs of the minimum and recommended configurations is rather strange. In AMD’s case, we’re going from a 3600 to a 3600X, with only the frequency increasing.

However, the graphics part is quite acceptable. In fact, a small note indicates that the minimum configuration will reach 30 FPS in 1080p, while framerate drops will be felt in intensive scenes. The recommended configuration is the same, but for 2160i at 30 FPS. Finally, RTX 2080 and RX 6800 are recommended for ray tracing in the best possible conditions.
