To round off the afternoon, we move on to a rather unusual product: active heatsinks for RAM. The Chinese brand Jonsbo offers us its NF-1, a model incorporating two small 50 mm fans!
NF-1: an active heatsink for memory!
With this cooling system, Jonsbo offers us a neat product. As always, the design is sober, with a grid featuring numerous rectangular openings. This grille then houses a duo of 50×20 mm fans with aRGB lighting.
In terms of their specifications, the most striking feature is their speed range, from 600 RPM to 3600 RPM. At full speed, airflow will reach 9.11 CFM, which isn’t much, but these are small fans with small blade surfaces.
The installation is primarily designed to be mounted next to an AIO kit pump. However, if you have an aircooling with good memory compatibility, this shouldn’t be a problem either. Mounting is simply a matter of screwing two long spacers onto the motherboard. The heatsink is then screwed onto these.
As for price, there are rumours that this product will cost between $10 and $15. However, this is a product exclusive to China.
Here are the Jonsbo product sheets!
