Jonsbo introduces a new compact heatsink with the HP400S-New, a small top flow heatsink of only 40mm height. Clearly, with this “C” shaped heatsink will ensure maximum compatibility with the RAM or your case. It is compact enough to not protrude beyond the VRM heatsinks on the motherboard!
HP400S-New: an ultra compact heatsink from Jonsbo!
With this new heatsink, the brand offers a compact model measuring 103 (W) x 92 (D) x 40 (H) mm. Clearly, there will be no worries about compatibility with your motherboard or your case. To get an idea, the fan will not exceed the VRM in height. In short, it will fit even in the most compact cases on the market such as In Win Chopin.
Despite its small size, we find a total of four copper heatpipes of 6 mm each. They will be in direct contact with the CPU. This ” New ” version features a network of aluminum fins denser than the previous model. Similarly, we can also count on a faster fan. Here, the 90mm fan will run from 900rpm to 2800rpm. At full speed, the airflow will reach 38.18 CFM.
Finally, we have a fan capable of handling TDPs of up to 140W. As for compatibility, it will be able to install on LGA-1700/1200/115x and AM4 sockets.
It remains to be seen what the price will be, but we imagine that it will be around 60 € like the previous model found on Amazon.
