Scythe offers us a new revision of one of its fans. Indeed, we find the Kotetsu Mark 3, a single tower heatsink that has undergone a little rejuvenation with a new design.
Kotetsu Mark 3: a little design refresh!
With this new revision, the heatsink has a new design. The upper part is now made of brushed aluminum and anodized in black. The fan, a Kaze Flex II, is also black, while the fins and heatpipes are gray.
Otherwise, we can count on a compact heatsink that measures 138 (W) x 80 (D) x 154 (H) mm. Moreover, in order to limit the impact on the memory, it has an off-center copper base.
The heatsink itself has a total of four copper heat pipes of 6 mm each. They meet at the level of a nickel-plated copper base with a mirror finish of 40×40 mm. Finally, we find a stack of aluminum fins of 0.4 mm.
Ventilation is provided by a single fan Kaze Flex II. The latter will operate at fairly low speeds since it will reach the 1500 rpm only at full speed. This guarantees a certain silence. Finally, at full speed, it will generate an air flow of 67.62 CFM and a static pressure of 1.5 mmH2O.
Finally, it is compatible with the latest sockets, including the AM5 and the LGA-1700.
As for the price, it would be estimated at 3980 yen or about 30 euros.
