You’ll agree that slim fans are not common in 120 mm. Noctua offers them, as well as a few others… Arctic has raised the bar a bit with a 140mm model that is only 16mm thick. Here is the P14 Slim PWM !
P14 Slim: a big and thin fan!
Arctic offers us a fan that is off the beaten track. Indeed, the company puts forward a 14 cm mill that adopts a slim format. The thickness is therefore reduced from 25 mm (usually), to 16 mm! In some configurations, even on some AIO or in some cases, the interest is clearly present… Especially if you don’t have much space above your motherboard for example.
Visually, we find the design of the blades of the P series. They are very long, but rather thin on this version. Moreover, they are more numerous than on the standard versions: 7 instead of 5.
As for the characteristics, the mills adopt a semi-passive operation with a speed range between 0 RPM and 1800 RPM. At full speed, they will generate a static pressure of 1.55 mmH2O and an air flow of 52 CFM. Finally, they take advantage of a PWM power supply and have both a male and female plug. This allows for a serial connection.
As for the price, the Swiss brand positions its mills at 12.99 € per unit.
