Dynatron announces a new fan for rack servers. With its J10, the brand offers a reference compatible with the AMD SP5 socket while being able to fit in a 2U rack.
J10 : a 2U rack mount fridge compatible with SP5 socket !
Roughly speaking, the J10 is a compact heatsink measuring 118 (W) x 92.4 (D) x 65 (H) mm. The weight is also very light with its 510 g on the scale. However, it has a total of five heatpipes in direct contact with the CPU, which meet at an aluminum base.
Moreover, as for the A38, this model has an extremely fast fan. In fact, it is a small 60 mm side mill that can reach 11000 RPM! At this speed, the air flow will be only 58.8 CFM, however, the static pressure reaches 28.8 mmH2O.
If silence is not the order of the day, let’s remember that we are aiming for maximum efficiency in a rack format. Likewise, comfort is incidental in this type of configuration.
Otherwise, we can mention the compatibility with the SP5 socket only. The thermal paste is pre-applied and it is Shin-Etsu 7762. Finally, the last small data that can make you smile, the 18W consumption of the fan. For comparison, a Noctua NF-A12x25, it is 1.68W of consumption. Now we just need to know the price.
